CECIIS 2021 confirmed the international significance of the FOI conference
Organized by the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) and the European Network EDEN, the 32nd International Conference "Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems" - CECIIS 2021 was successfully held from Wednesday, the 13th of October to Friday, the 15th of October, 2021. Dedicated to the topic of the Networked Society, this year's edition of the conference was held in a virtual edition. The CECIIS Program Committee awarded the authors of this year's best paper and announced CECIIS 2022 topic and date. Read more below.

The 32nd International Scientific Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems – CECIIS 2021, organized by the Faculty of Organization and Informatics of the University of Zagreb, will be held from 13 to 15 October 2021. Taking in mind the well-being of all participants, guests and organizers, this year’s conference is organized as a virtual event.

RAPIDE project partner meeting held & starting of learning, teaching and training activities
On Monday, September 6th 2021, the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) hosted Consortium meeting of the international project RAPIDE - Relevant assessment and pedagogies for inclusive digital education, coordinated by FOI in cooperation with five European partners, two of which are from Croatian universities. The coordinator of the project is professor Blaženka Divjak. The 24-month project funded under the Erasmus + program of the European Commission in the total amount of 219,085.00 euro started in March 2021.

eDESK Kick Off Meeting held
On Wednesday, May 19, 2021, the online kick-off meeting of the project eDESK: Digital and Entrepreneurial Skills for European Teachers in the COVID-19 World, funded under Erasmus+ programme KA226 Partnerships for Digital Education Readiness, was hosted by the project coordinator - the University of Cantabria Foundation for Study and Research in the Financial Sector.

CECIIS 2021 – Call for papers and proposal of parallel activities
The 32nd Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems CECIIS 2021 will be held from October 13 to 15, 2021 in co-organization of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb and European Distance and e-Learning Network (EDEN). The special emphasis of this year’s Conference is on "Networked Society". ONLINE KICK-OFF MEETING HELD - TEACH4EDU4
On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, the kick-off meeting of the international strategic project in higher education titled TEACH4EDU4 - Accelerating the transition to Edu 4.0 in HEIs was held by the project coordinator - the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) of the University of Zagreb. The 30-month project is funded under the Erasmus + program of the European Commission in the total amount of 296,845.00 euros.

Start of new Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership led by FOI UNIZG
Faculty of Organization and Informatics of the University of Zagreb is a leading institution in the international project „Accelerating the transition towards Edu 4.0 in HEIs“ (TEACH4EDU4) which will be financed from Erasmus+ Programme – Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education (Key Action 203).
Project TEACH4EDU4 will start in November 2020, and the duration is 30 months (until May 2023). Total project budget is 296.845,00 EUR.
