FOI student's visit to leading IT companies Gideon and Infobip
On Friday, March 21, 2025, around forty students from FOI visited the companies Gideon Brothers and Infobip. The visit was primarily organized for students of the Artificial Intelligence in Business module as part of the course "Application of Artificial Intelligence in Business" (led by Prof. Sandra Lovrenčić, PhD and Assoc. Prof. Dijana Oreški, PhD), initiated by Prof. Sandra Lovrenčić and supported by the FOI Student Support and Career Development Center. There was also room for other interested students from various study years and programs.

FOI offers free prep courses for high school graduates
The Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) is organizing free preparatory workshops for high school graduates preparing for the state exams in computer science and mathematics. The courses will be held in a hybrid format (on-site in Varaždin and online).

FOI teachers at the Science Festival 2025
The Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) is once again actively participating in the Science Festival, which will take place from May 5 to May 10, 2025. This year's festival theme is "Networks," and FOI teachers have prepared a series of engaging workshops designed to bring science closer to young audiences and the general public. During the Science Festival, FOI will host numerous participants through interactive workshops covering various aspects of networks – from internet and social networks to mathematical and economic connections. The workshops are tailored for different age groups and will be held at FOI premises, elementary schools, and kindergartens.

HELA project team develops a Maturity Framework to enhance higher education through learning analytics after four years of research
The final conference of the scientific project HELA – Improving HEI maturity to implementlearning analytics was held on 25 February, 2025. at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics (UNIZG FOI). This significant research project, funded by the Croatian Science Foundation, brought together leading national and international experts with the goal of improving the educational process through learning analytics. The project was led by Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, Ph.D. with Prof. Diana Šimić, Ph.D. as the co-leader.
