Prof. Violeta Vidaček Hainš lectured at the University of Cincinnati, OH, USA
Prof. Violeta Vidaček Hainš, Ph.D. visited the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, USA from November 10 to 16, 2024. She delivered several lectures for students and presentations for teachers and staff with topics linked to the cross-cultural communication competences, COIL - collaborative online international learning teaching method. She shared information about the upcoming 13th Students Research Symposium on Intercultural Learning and about the 15th Student section of the CECIIS international conference.

UNIZG FOI participated in ESIEA International Day
The University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics (UNIZG FOI), took part in the International Day organised by its partner university, ESIEA. The event took place on Thursday, November 14, 2024, when Full Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, presented FOI to ESIEA students, highlighting its key advantages as an great choice for short or long term mobility. On the following day, FOI Dean, Full Prof. Marina Klačmer Čalopa, joined Prof. Begičević Ređep, and together they attended a series of meetings with ESIEA researchers, doctoral candidates and lab leaders.

Students and faculty members from UNIZG FOI participated in Erasmus+ blended intensive program at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Business and Economics
FOI’s partner university, the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Business and Economics, organized an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled “International Communication and AI.” The program ran from September 30 to October 18, 2024, with the final week (from November 14 to 18) organized face-to-face in Amsterdam. Two faculty members and nine students from University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics participated in the BIP.

Successfully held FOI International Days 2024
The sixteenth FOI International Days took place at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin from May 15 to 17, 2024. The central theme of the event was Sustainable Partnerships. This year, we hosted a record number of international participants. Almost 60 teachers, researchers, experts and students from 10 countries across three continents (Europe, North America, and Africa) attended the event, with nearly 350 participants taking part in the three-day programme. FOI International Days 2024 were organized by the FOI International Relations Office.

Penn State University students and teachers visited FOI
The study visit with Penn State University is based on virtual collaboration within the Entrepreneurial Venture course. Assoc. Prof. Kristina Detelj, Ph.D. and Assoc. Prof. Irena Konecki, Ph.D. along with students from the Economics of Entrepreneurship program, collaborate with professors Anne Hoag and Jeanette Miller and their students from Penn State.

Strengthening international ties with Faculty of Management Science and Informatics from Žilina
During the 61st anniversary celebration of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics at the University of Zagreb, Assoc. Prof. Ing.
