Invitation to the workshop "Writing Teaching Cases"
As part of this year's FOI International Cooperation Days 2024 organized by the Entrepreneurship Lab, Professor Jeanette Miller, Ph.D. from the Smeal College of Business, Penn State University, will hold a workshop for FOI and other interested Ph.D. students on writing business problem cases for use in class. The workshop is especially suitable for teachers of economic and organizational subjects, but all interested parties are invited.

Financial literacy days organized by Business Club FOI
Student non-profit association Business Club FOI from Varaždin, implements a project called "Financial Literacy Days" with the aim of expanding student's knowledge of financial literacy. The project will be implemented in the period from May 7 to 8, 2024.

FOI OPEN DAY 2024
As part of this year's national manifestation Festival of Science, on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin (Pavlinska 2), part of the University of Zagreb, an Open Day for high school graduates will be held and the wider interested public. The goal of the Open Day is to introduce students to the final grades of high schools and potentially our future students, with FOI's study programs, which graduates can enroll in after passing the state matriculation exams. Invited lecture by Tomo Hunjak on the topic 'Directive on Corporate Sustainability Reporting'
On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM, during the lecture on Entrepreneurial Venture as part of the Entrepreneurship Economics course, guest lecturer Tomo Hunjak, ESG Manager of the Vindija Group, will deliver a lecture. Vindija has been conducting its business operations for years under the sustainability philosophy often referred to as the common denominator of the ESG framework (Environmental, Social, and Governance framework). The topic of the lecture is 'Directive on Corporate Sustainability Reporting'.

World and European Money Week: lectures on money management, fintech and cryptocurrencies an at FOI
The program took place in the period from March 19 to 21, 2024, and includes a number of different activities on current topics in the field of economics and finance. It was intended for FOI students of all study programs and years of study. Lecture topics covered a wide range of financial aspects, ranging from cryptocurrencies, fintech to modern money management strategies, providing participants with a comprehensive insight into the dynamic world of finance and the financial market. Lectures at FOI were held by a number of prominent FOI alumni students, as well as other successful individuals and prominent professionals engaged in a range of entrepreneurial activities in the financial sector.

Penn State University students and teachers visited FOI
The study visit with Penn State University is based on virtual collaboration within the Entrepreneurial Venture course. Assoc. Prof. Kristina Detelj, Ph.D. and Assoc. Prof. Irena Konecki, Ph.D. along with students from the Economics of Entrepreneurship program, collaborate with professors Anne Hoag and Jeanette Miller and their students from Penn State.
