Professor Peter Márton played a significant role in establishing strong cooperation with the Faculty of Management Science and Informatics (FRI) of the University in Žilina (UNIZA), Slovakia, starting in 2016. Since then, over 40 FOI UNIZG students spent a semester in Žilina under Erasmus+ programme, making it the most popular Erasmus destionation for our students. Professor Márton personally welcomed every each one of them. Two institutions also worked closely together on projects, Erasmus+ blended intensive programmes and other initiatives.
During his visit to the Day of the Faculty in Varaždin, Professor Márton, currently serving as the vice-dean for international cooperation at FRI UNIZA, presented the Faculty of Organization and Informatics with a Certificate of Appreciation. This certificate acknowledged the "lasting and outstanding cooperation in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme" and was bestowed by the dean, Prof. Ing. Emil Kršák.
We hope that this productive academic collaboration will continue to expand, involving a greater number of both teachers and students!
