This was the 11th edition of this international event at FOI, with many national and international guests and presenters, as well as FOI students and staff, it was the mostsuccessful so far.
First day was a networking and cultural experience day, where international guests had the opportunity to get to know the history, architecture and the culture of the city of Varaždin and taste some of the typical dishes of the region. On Thursday, 9th May 2018, the central day of the event, the program started with presentations of FOI's international and project cooperation as introduction. It was followed by presentation of several partners universities from Europe: ESIEA, France by Ms Susan Loubet, University of Alcalá, Spain by Prof. Luis de Marcos Ortega, University of Žilina, Slovakia by Prof. Emese Tokarchikova, University of Maribor by Ms Pia Prebevšek and Ms Barbara Ferbežer, Slovenia and Babeș-Bolyai University by Ms Claudia Huszar. Furthermore, a successful panel discussion „How to attract international students and encourage national students to use the opportunities of student exchange" was held. The info stands in the Hall of the Faculty offered students detailed information about exchange possibilities at other partner institutions.
Alongside main program, there were several parallel activities organized for FOI students and lecturers. Students have participated in a workshops held by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Zagreb and FOI International Relations Office which were organized to inform future Erasmus students what to expect when studying abroad or participating within Erasmus internship. The invited lecture by Mr Luka Klancir was organized for students to inform them about a successful entrepreneurial venture by a former Erasmus student.
FOI lecturers have participated in a workshop named "How to teach in ainternational classroom" held by two guest lecturers and experts from University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam - Andreia Carita and Chie Misumi.
