The Green Step Forward: Days of Sustainable Development project is focused on developing practices that support environmental protection, recycling and waste reduction, reducing resource consumption, promoting healthy food, and more. Through this project, students will have the opportunity to reflect on sustainable practices and commitment to them, and propose sustainable solutions to improve the quality of student life and everyone in society.
Over two days, a series of activities devoted to sustainable development were be held at the Faculty, the aim of which is to encourage environmentally sustainable initiatives and good behavioral practices among students and student associations. Students and employees of the Faculty joined us in the activities of collecting electronic waste and arranging green oases at the Faculty. Ena Barčić hosted the educational events (movie and game night), while the student competition Global Goals Jam was led by FOI assistant Larisa Hrustek. The student competition is held as part of the global initiative Global Goals Jam, where concepts of sustainable solutions for local problems are designed and created at the local level, thus encouraging contribution to global sustainable goals.
