Full Prof. Neven Vrček, Ph.D. and Izabela Oletić Tušek, univ. spec. pol., Head of the International Relations Office at FOI, spoke with the guests about the existing cooperation between the Faculty of Organization and Informatics and the higher education institutions of Italy. The existing cooperation, which grows year after year, is primarily realized within projects funded from European funds.
Ambassador Adriano Chiodi Cianfarani said that in Italy there is still the perception of Croatia as a primarily tourist country, and that Italian students are not sufficiently acquainted with Croatian universities and the possibilities to carry out all or part of their studies in Croatia. Likewise, FOI students do not currently have the opportunity to spend a semester on Erasmus exchange in Italy.
In this regard, great potential and opportunities for cooperation have been identified, and some concrete steps for future have been agreed.
