Full Prof. Marina Klačmer Čalopa, Ph.D., has made a lasting impact through her long-standing work in the FOI administration, first as Vice Dean and now as the current Dean. She is also an educator and researcher, contributing significantly to national and international projects and leading key initiatives in entrepreneurial education and digital transformation. Her work on projects such as Digitalization in Entrepreneurship in the Context of Responding to Exogenous Shocks (DigEntre) and Pannon EU Stories highlights her influence in the field of entrepreneurial education and innovation.
Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, Ph.D., has demonstrated exceptional academic productivity, project leadership and extensive collaboration between FOI and the IT sector during her career. Serving multiple terms as Vice Dean and two successful terms as Dean of FOI, she has played a pivotal role in advancing digital education, organizational maturity, and transformation. Having participated in over 20 scientific and development projects funded by programs such as ERASMUS, INTERREG, ESF, IPA and HORIZON, she has significantly bridged the gap between the IT sector and academia. Currently, she leads the Croatian Science Foundation project Advancing Higher Education Institutions’ Maturity for Learning Analytics Implementation (HELA) and spearheads the development of Croatia’s first academic pre-incubation center in the smart industry domain.
Both professors have proven themselves as visionary leaders shaping the future of Croatian higher education and hi-tech through their work, influence, and leadership.
