Special emphasis of CECIIS 2021 is on Networked Society. Internet and corresponding networked ecosystems are influencing modern society in recent years in most disruptive way forming new socioeconomic paradigm – networked society. Networked society is much more than technology or simple use of web-based services. It is about the communication of humans, organizations and institutions in a seamless way based on common protocols, standards, vocabularies and semantics. It is the foundation for new business models, education paradigms and social interactions. In each of these domains, it triggers new approaches based on real time interaction and exchange of rich content.

CECIIS welcomes session, workshop, panel or other parallel event proposals. Please fill in the form with basic information and short description of the proposed event. Proposal submission deadline is April 20, 2021.

EDEN PhD Symposium will be held on October 14, 2021 in co-organization of University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics and European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN). The Symposium has been designed to foster the exchange of experiences and knowledge among doctoral students doing research in the area of technology enhanced online, digital, open and distance learning, providing a valuable forum for the advancement of doctoral research. The Symposium is led by a panel of international experts.
PhD students are invited to submit abstracts before June 15, 2021.
Horizon Europe Brokerage Event for ICT. This event has been designed to present Horizon Europe Calls, perform workshop on design ideas/needs analysis/partners analysis and presentations of applied ideas per groups. The brokerage event will be a half-day event led by prof. Blaženka Divjak, PhD.
We invite all interested researchers and groups to apply for the event before May 18, 2021.
Taking the uncertain epidemiological situation into consideration, CECIIS 2021 will offer an option of virtual participation (with reduced registration fee) for anyone who cannot or chooses not to travel. The final decision on the way of conducting the Conference will be made in due time.
