In the period of 03 July 12th July 2010 Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb hosted the interdisciplinary student research conference jointly organized by the University of Central Florida in Orlando (UCF) and the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb (FOI).
Aside from the official conference program, UCF students and FOI participated in various activities and get better knowledge of regional history, culture and natural heritage, education system etc.
Group of American and Croatian students visited the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb, Opatija city, the First Elementary school in Varazdin, Trakošćan Neanderthal Museum in Krapina etc.
They also took part in the volunteering activities at the European Championships in Athletics for people with intellectual disabilities.
At the july 1 st, FOI and UCF signed the General Agreement on academic cooperation, which will be the basis for future joint activities and exchange / research projects.
