Student non-profit association Business Club FOI from Varaždin, implements a project called "Financial Literacy Days" with the aim of expanding student's knowledge of financial literacy. The project will be implemented in the period from May 7 to 8, 2024.
On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM, during the lecture on Entrepreneurial Venture as part of the Entrepreneurship Economics course, guest lecturer Tomo Hunjak, ESG Manager of the Vindija Group, will deliver a lecture. Vindija has been conducting its business operations for years under the sustainability philosophy often referred to as the common denominator of the ESG framework (Environmental, Social, and Governance framework). The topic of the lecture is 'Directive on Corporate Sustainability Reporting'.

The study visit with Penn State University is based on virtual collaboration within the Entrepreneurial Venture course. Assoc. Prof. Kristina Detelj, Ph.D. and Assoc. Prof. Irena Konecki, Ph.D. along with students from the Economics of Entrepreneurship program, collaborate with professors Anne Hoag and Jeanette Miller and their students from Penn State.
On Tuesday, 5 March 2024, a Kick-off meeting was held back-to-back with a Research workshop on trustworthy learning analytics (LA) and AI algorithms. The meeting, held in a hybrid format (@FOI and online), was led by Professor Blaženka Divjak, the projects’ principal investigator.
The Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems (CECIIS) has been a cornerstone in fostering researchers engaged in developing and applying methods and techniques in the realm of information and intelligent systems for almost 35 years now at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics. Established in 1989, CECIIS, hosted annually in Varaždin, Croatia, has earned commendable credibility in the international scientific community over the past three and half decades. Its enduring tradition is reflected in the increasing participation and a surge in associated scientific and professional activities.
