In the summer semester, UNIZG FOI will host 17 foreign students from France (ESIEA and EPITECH) and Germany (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology - KIT). Each incoming student also has their own FOI Student Buddy, a local and experienced student who helps them integrate into the city and the faculty as quickly and effectively as possible. FOI Buddies also joined the activities organized as part of the Welcome Week.
On the first day of the Welcome Week, students attended a presentation introducing the University of Zagreb and FOI. On the second day, Wednesday, teachers presented the courses and workshops that will be conducted in English to the students. Wednesday evening was reserved for informal socializing at the Student residence. On the last day of the Welcome Week, FOI Interanational Relations Office took the incoming students and their Buddies on a trip to Zagreb accompanied by a guide.
