The attendees were addressed by the dean of FOI, Prof. Marina Klačmer Čalopa, Ph.D. and the president of the FOI Alumni Association, Associate Professor Katarina Tomičić-Pupek, Ph.D.
Next up was the main event, a FOI Alumni Round Table on "Developing Skills for the Future: Advice from FOIs for the Era to Come". The panelists shared their rich experiences and opened perspectives on the challenges and opportunities brought by digital transformation in the professional world. These are distinguished alumni of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, who have achieved notable careers and are happy to return to their home institution in the roles of lecturers and advisors to the younger generations. They are: Jelena Škalec (Data&AI Technical Sales at IBM Croatia), Klaudia Teković (Business Area Director - ERP&Custom development at Omega Software), Marina Mišetić (Technical Account Manager at Asseco South Eastern Europe), Alen Delić (Chief Information Security Officer at SpotMe ), Goran Kovačević (Vice President of Business Development at Infinum) and Mario Mrljić (CTO & Board Member at NEOS). The moderator of the round table was the president of the FOI Alumni Association, Assoc. Prof. Katarina Tomičić-Pupek, Ph.D. After the round table, there was an informal socializing and networking in the Info Chill Zone (Rupa) with an appropriate snack.
FOI Alumni Day will provide an opportunity for inspiring conversations, establishing contacts, sharing experiences and celebrating important achievements in the careers of FOI alumni!
The goal of FOI Alumni Day was to highlight the importance of unity and cooperation between the alumni community and the Faculty in promoting the continuous development and improvement of education in the field of IT, business and organization. The FOI Alumni community remains a key partner in building bridges between the academic and business community and supporting future generations of students in achieving their career goals.
